Beauty Shopping List June 2012

We all walk into shops such as Superdrug and Boots and browse along the colourful make-up/beauty sections and place various different products onto a virtual shopping list in our heads, well I do anyway. Either that or I see a beautiful lipstick in someone's YouTube favourite's video or a pretty eyeshadow that I just 'need' in my collection.

Well I definitely have a few of those floating around in my head right now and decided to write a blog post about them otherwise I may just forget them altogether! Here goes:

1 Revlon Lipbutters -

I know this could be classed as a crime in the beauty world but I still haven't tried any of the Revlon Lipbutters since they have been released in the UK, to be fair though the Superdrug in my town have only just started stocking them! I'm also debating what shade to buy but I guess I'll just have to swatch away in the shop. Oh just FYI: I've had a sneeky peek online and they're on offer in Superdrug from £7.99 to £5.99, tempting or what?

2 Maybelline 24HR Colour Tattoos -

I've seen these all over YouTube and they keep staring at me when I go shopping, it won't be long before I finally give in and grab one of these little beauties! I especially like the shade 'On and On Bronze' which is a gorgeous brownie bronze colour that should last, obviously, 24 hours. Does anyone actually have their make-up on that long? Haha!

3 Maybelline Colour Sensation Popsticks -

If nothing else, the appearance of these lipsticks just scream FABULOUS! These 'popsticks' have a crystal effect and look almost transparent which does indeed blow my mind somewhat. Another thing, they smell divine! The scent of them is very fruity and just all round summery! I love the shade 'citrus slice' which appears to be a bright neon orange in the packaging although it gives off a subtle pink glossy effect to the lips that looks so gorgeous, especially for the upcoming Summer months that I hope shall turn up sooner rather than later...

4 Barry M Lip Paints -

I've been itching to purchase one of these lip paints for a while but have never got round to it, I'm especially intrigued by the one that appears to be a bright green lipstick. I remember first seeing this shade and felt convinced it must be for the Halloween season, but after swatching it on my hand I noticed that it applies as a clear lip product and then adapts to your natural lip colour, which is pink! YAY!

5 17 Mirror Shine On Lipstick -

Ok, this is the last lip product I promise... I have far too many already but they just stand out to me so much more than any other products in a shop. Again I've been wanting to try one of these lipsticks as well but haven't yet had a chance, they prove to be popular with other people so fingers crossed they're as good as they seem!

6 A New Mascara -

I haven't named a specific mascara because I'm not entirely sure on which one I want to buy, there are a few out there that have caught my eye so it will more than likely be on of those ones but I'll have to watch some reviews to make up my mind. The Falsifeye Mascara by 17 (again!) is a definite contender for me I reckon! There is currently a free gift being offered to you from Boots if you spend £6 or more on the 17 range which sways my decision even more so...

7 Magazine Freebies -

You may or may not know that there are some really impressive magazine freebies out there this month and they are definitely worth getting your hands on! Including Benefit Make-up samples in Glamour magazine. I'm very keen to try the Ciate nail varnish which is currently free with Marie Claire magazine. Preferably the hot pink shade with blue undertones which is an absolutely amazing colour that I spotted earlier which has more than certainly made its way onto my list of things to buy pretty soon! Maybe it will stop my nail biting habit too?

So, that's it! My list of exciting products that I'm desperate to try out. I probably could of included around 20 more items in this but I think that is a bit too much to read all in one go and so I narrowed it down to 7, let me know if you liked this post and I might make it a regular feature! Thanks for reading x x x
