Hey guys! I know I usually put up a blog at least once every two days so I thought I'd better write one quickly before I go out to update you on my situation!
As you may or may not know I have a Summer Concert coming up with the local theatre company I'm part of. We did Bugsy Malone in April which was awesome! The concert this year is 'The A to Z of Music' yeah, you can work that out for yourselves...
Today is Thursday and I've got our last rehearsal this afternoon at 3:30 until 10:00 (phew!) and it will be our first and last run of the show until the real thing tomorrow night. I'm a little bit nervous but still very, very excited! I'm not doing a solo or anything to save the audience's ears from breaking but I'm in the Company numbers, Senior numbers and a group one too :-) I must remember my 'stage smile', which is basically the cheesiest smile humanly possible! This show is only two nights in a row unlike the last which was four, I honestly cannot wait now!
It will be a little nerve racking performing it on the stage for the first time later on but great at the same time. there are some lovely people who are a part of it and I'm glad we're all pretty close!
Anyway, you'll probably see a whole blog post about the concert once its over like I did on my other blog with Bugsy but I just thought I would explain my absence! I've missed writing blogs if I'm honest so I'm doing this one when really I should be getting ready to go out... Oops!
