Hello! I thought this post would be a good idea since we've officially left September and are 3 days into October already. Not only that but I know a large majority of people my age and older have started out somewhere new at either College or University, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the past month which was my first full 4 weeks at Sixth Form.
I don't know about anyone else but I feel as if I have only been there for a couple of weeks, time flies! Every thing is so different, even more so for people used to being at High School I guess as that's a completely different kettle of fish in comparison. For myself starting such a new experience it was really the ultimate test on my body to see how well I would cope, there have been times even in the past 4 weeks where I've felt a pang of nervousness at moments that are barely nerve racking situations. This time around its totally different though, because I know how to control myself a heck of a lot more than I used to be able to so everything is easier. Even if things became tough like they did 3 months into High School I would definitely persist at it 100% without a doubt because ultimately, this is my future.
The first month has been really positive and I'm very happy with the subject choices that I took as they are exactly what I imagined so I had no nasty surprises along the way which was great! For those of you that don't know, I chose English Lang/Lit, Media Studies and Photography :-)
Have you started somewhere new this September? Comment below!
Thanks for reading xo
(P.S. You may notice the change in blog name, I'd love to know your thoughts...)
