The Aftermath of A-Levels!

It's that time of year again where a large majority of elder teenagers are even more stressed out than usual and that is due to that little word that is, exams. During my GCSE's last year I didn't really get to a high level of stress and worry as everyone else did which was probably because I wasn't at school with the pressure from teachers and the atmosphere of stress surrounding you, though of course once I had picked up my results that was the moment when an extreme amount of stress and anxiety came crashing down upon me.

Anyway, that's enough of the past! So, yesterday marked my last AS exam of which was English Language and Literature following my previous exam that was Media Studies - I believe that they both went fairly well but there is no way that I'm going to get my hopes up again just in case when I receive my results I get a nasty shock. Despite this, no matter what grades I get I know that I can justify them by knowing that I tried my absolute best and worked as hard as possible when revising for them and that, I guess is the main thing that you have to bare in mind.

The reasoning for this post is that I wanted to say that I now have two weeks off college with no work whatsoever, meaning that I can starting posting more regularly on here! That makes me extremely pleased and I didn't realise how much I would appreciate this time off. It feels lovely to not have to worry about what exam is next and what revision I should be doing, although I do keep forgetting and since yesterday have been reaching for my college folders by accident - oops! Not many of my friends have finished their exams yet as most of them study 4 subjects as apposed to my 3 but that's okay, it won't be too long before they are all free too and we can enjoy our newly discovered free time :-) Good luck to any of you that have exams at the moment, no matter what they are, I hope they go as well as you would like and even if they don't, it will all work out in the end!

If you would like me to blog about a particular topic etc then I would be more than happy to if you could let me know, thanks for reading x
