Hello everyone!
Yesterday I went shopping with my family in the city closest to where we live, so I thought I'd do my first OOTD on here since they're such a quick and easy post to do!
Here's my outfit as a whole...
Yes, you may have seen that face before... |
The printed vest: M&CO - Kylie range.
As soon as I spotted this top hanging up in the shop I knew that one day it would have its own place in my wardrobe. So when I saw it had been slashed down to just £6 in the sale, I couldn't resist. If you hadn't already noticed it has the face of The Only Way is Essex star Joey Essex on the front, what a legend!
The blue skirt: M&CO - Kylie range.
I saw this skirt on the same day as the vest, hence why they ended up being in an outfit together! I tried them on together just as a little experiment and I think they go really well in conjunction with one another. I was looking for a summer type skirt and this one was reduced to only £5 in the sale and looks great with tights or bare legs which is great for any time of year. You may notice I make the skirt almost high waisted and tuck the top into it as it makes everything look better in my opinion!
The jacket and shoes:
Firstly, the jacket.
This is a pale-denim jacket that I bought from New Look last Summer, I wear it to death during the summer because it goes with so many things! It was around £16 and they have very similar style ones around this year too.
Next, the shoes.
These shoes are again something that I bought at the later part of 2011 and they're also from New Look (oh how I love that shop!). Super comfy and smart looking too!
Accessories:
I don't quite know why but yesterday I felt like keeping jewellery to a minimum of just two rings. I think its because this outfit is rather 'out there' and well, different for me anyway. The silver one is my everyday ring which is real silver and from a local jewellers and the gold one is from Dorothy Perkins.
Although, I'm wearing this outfit again today (skank I know!) and I'm wearing a necklace that I brought yesterday with it. Obviously I didn't have it to call my own and wear yesterday so here it is...

Necklace: Miss Selfridge sale - £3 |
I haven't ever seen a necklace quite like this before, it has multi-coloured rosary beads leading down to a cross. Because of the large range of colours it goes with a lot of different outfits.
Everything:
Here is everything from this outfit laid out all together, I do use either a bralet type top or just a strappy vest top underneath the main top as its white and a tad see through!
Hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if there's anything you'd like me to blog about...
