Summer Stand Outs

So it turns out that its beauty favourites time yet again and we have already jumped into the month of September. I'm quite excited once the world hits this time of year as it means Autumn and Winter aren't far out of reach! Despite demanding warm weather a couple of weeks ago I'm now at the stage where I'm definitely ready for the pretty Autumn leaves to start falling. Anyway, enough gabbling from me! Let's get on with what products have stood out to me this month:

1. No7 Eyelash Curlers - £7.50: Up until a little while ago I've always been one of those people that thought eyelash curlers were just a fad and didn't actually do anything for other people's lashes like they believed, but I was wrong to say the least. I guess you never know until you try because I now use these in my beauty routine every single day without a doubt, I curl my lashes with these then apply clear mascara over what I've done before going back with my black mascara to add the proper definition. Definitely something to give a go!

2. Aapril Exfoliating Scrub Cream - £1: After seeing a lot of hype in the beauty community about the St Ives Apricot Scrub I found myself desperate to try one as were many others I'd imagine. I am so glad that I came across this one in my local Poundland first though, such a bargain! I'm not entirely sure if the brand is known or not but what I do know is that this is the perfect dupe for the crazed about facial scrub. As soon as I read 'with apricot extracts' I just knew I had to try this and boy is it good for the price, for 3 or more days after using the scrub my face is left feeling smooth and generally lovely underneath my make-up.

3. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation - £8.99: I guess I'm telling a small fib with the price I've given on here although it is in fact the original price. I just always shop around before purchasing because I know how many different offers are floating around various shops all the time! I've re-purchased this foundation once already and have been using it pretty much every day since I bought it, I like the natural glow it gives which claims to make you appear more awake - I think it does this. The finish is great for my skin type with the dewy effect but maybe for oily skin it wouldn't be as good. Also let me just add that I have the lightest shade '100 Ivory' and it is pretty much perfect so hooray!

4. Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara - £4.99: Again, I sort of lie about the price tag. I only paid £1 for this product too, thank goodness for Poundland and their famous brands make-up section! I absolutely adore this mascara, and not just because of the cheap price. I would happily pay £4.99 for this any day of the week, I've quite obviously gone out and bought another one as I just fear it could be discontinued or something dreadful. Amazing product in my eyes (literally...)!

5. Collection 2000 Eyebrow Definer in Blonde - £2.79: My eyebrows are a state if I leave them natural, they're worse than you'd ever believe. This is mainly due to the fact that I'm a tad tweezer happy as I like to call it and leave myself with half an eyebrow by the time I've finished plucking away, which results in them both looking different. This product is exactly what I needed! It comes in an eyeliner form making it super easy to use for non-experts like myself and the colour is just right for me too.

Before you go I just have to mention the snazzy picture I used for this post and YES it was in fact me that created it on a free website called 'Picture2Life'. I'll more than likely be using the site again for other pictures in posts so I thought I'd share with you where I created it! Thanks for reading :-) x
