Sleek Shirts
Sheer button up shirts have been a staple wardrobe piece for a considerable amount of time already it seems so I figured I needed to jump on the bandwagon and buy one for myself and since spotting many other people of similar age to me wearing these I thought I'd give one a go!
This particular one was from Primark, one of my all time favourite shops. It is black with a unique feature, not just your standard traditional collar but what seems to be a double peter pan collar - fabulous! Not only that but it has a grey and white flamingo print all over making it even more appealing to the younger generation, along with quite a dramatic high-low hemline too which is currently highly popular in the style stakes. The shirt in the limelight of this post cost me £10 and at the time of purchase I thought it was a tiny bit overpriced considering where I was buying it, but I was very wrong. Not only could you wear this tucked into our out of a pair of jeans but also with black leggings or shorts, pretty much anything in other words! Another positive note on the style of these shirts is that they can be dressed up or down and either way looks very thought out and put together regardless of if you've just chucked it on that morning, they are a very versatile piece of clothing.
Whether you wear a sheer shirt with jeans for a casual everyday look or a bodycon skirt for a more dressy one, both tend to look winning whatever you want to achieve. I was chuffed with my purchase after much debating before trying one on, how do you wear your sheer shirts and blouses? Thanks for reading. x
