My First Peplum Purchase!

After speaking about peplums in an earlier blog post, I knew that I had to soon buy one for myself. It hasn't been difficult to find any (they've been in almost every single clothing shop), its just I haven't found the - I guess you could say, 'perfect  peplum' for me. 

I originally tried some on in both Primark and New Look but neither of them did anything for my figure and I wasn't overly fussed with them anyway. This one caught my eye immediately and I instantly adored the striped pattern, once I'd tried it on I knew I had to buy it! To my surprise, it was only £10 which I think is a total bargain and I wore it to my friend's birthday gathering last night which shows it can be dressed up for a special occasion or dressed down for everyday wear. The pictures aren't the best because I was in a bit of a rush to leave the house but the top itself has no sleeves, I'm sorry that you can't see it because of my cardigan! I'm so pleased with my purchase, as well as now owning a peplum top for the first time after searching for one for such a long time...
