Summer Party Outfit and Face of the Night | 29th June

Last night I went to a friend's party which was situated outside in the evening time and I thought that since I have a few pictures of my outfit, that I would share what I wore with you... oh and what I wore on my face in terms of make-up too! Hope you enjoy :-)

Starting with the outfit, so I should probably point out now that this whole outfit came from various charity shops which I was impressed with when I realised! 

My black and white stripy midi dress was originally from Primark and it is super comfortable and a great alternative to a maxi dress if you're a little short like me. 

The denim jacket was originally from New Look and I remember it only cost me £1, BARGAIN! I love the shade of denim with this jacket as some of them are too washed out but this darker colour is perfect for me.

In terms of shoes, although you cannot see them - oops! they are a pair of black strappy sandals which were also originally from New Look too. I haven't stopped wearing these since I got them, they are just an essential piece for my summer outfits!

Last but not least, the accessories, or main accessory which was a chunky gold chain necklace from Peacocks for just £4. I've wanted one of these for ages as I said in my previous post where I hauled it and I was unsure of whether it would look right but it added a really nice finish to my outfit last night.

Let's move onto the face! 

In terms of base products, I'm wearing a new foundation from MUA called 'Matte Perfect' alongside my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. On top of those I have the MUA cream blush in 'Dolly' as well as a sweeping of the Accessorize baked blush in 'Bombshell' all over my face, giving it a bronzed look.

On the eyes I used various brown shades from my MUA 'Undress Me Too' eyeshadow palette whilst also using the matt black shade to set my new BeautyUK black eyeliner and to finish off the smoky eye, I used the Maybelline Rocket Volum Mascara. On the all important brows I have MAC's eyeliner in the shade 'Teddy'.

LIPS! My favourite part of this look, I am wearing the Collection lipstick in the shade 'Mango Tango' which is a coral pink colour and I absolutely love it! Bright lips are fabulous.

I should add that my make-up lasted all night and still looked great once I got in, baring in mind I was only there for a few hours. So that was me in a nutshell last night! Let me know if you like Outfit Posts and I'll be sure to do more in the future. Thanks for reading x
